Reiki has been part of my life for over 20 years.
At first, I experienced the benefits of Reiki treatments when I struggled with a hyperthyroid as a young mother feeling exhausted and depressed. Reiki had a calming, nurturing effect where I would feel warm even at my extremities, grounded, peaceful and energized. I still have my thyroid today and it is working fine without medication.
During a stressful period where as a family we had to make difficult decisions that would affect us all, I remembered the feeling of peace and clarity that Reiki gave me before and seeked a Reiki treatment. The treatment was so powerful and helpful that I trained in Reiki 1 and 2 to use Reiki every day on myself and to offer it to friends and family. Their positive feedback and life changing experiences with Reiki made me want to share the benefits of Reiki with my community and beyond.
In order to do so, I retrained at the Reiki Academy London with Reiki Master Torsten Lange and I am now a fully qualified and insured Reiki Master practitioner. I trained in both main USUI Reiki lineages, the Western and Japanese traditions and regularly attend classes to further my knowledge and experience.

In March 2022, My level 2 Reiki students were ready and asked me to teach them the level 3 of the system of Reiki. The last level, the Reiki Master level. I asked them to give me a year to prepare for it.
To get ready to teach the level 3, to deepen my connection with the energy and to develop an even more focused spiritual practice, I took another Reiki Master Teacher course myself in March 2023 with Frans Stiene, founder of the International House of Reiki.
I dedicate one hour a day to my education. I also have increased my daily practice, not only do I carry on starting my day with a self-treatment, I meditate and chant everyday. The precepts are continuously present in my daily life, a part of my being. We know that Reiki is energy and it is practice that makes the difference.

I trained in the level 1 in February 2017 and the level 2 in June 2017 with Torsten as well.
Prior to retraining in the UK to work with Reiki, I had trained in Reiki 1 and 2 in May 2015 in California for my own healing and spiritual growth.

The Fountain Centre is a charity located in the St Luke’s cancer unit at the Royal Surrey hospital, Guildford. They offer advice, counseling, and a huge range of complementary therapies in a calming and relaxed atmosphere.
I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to give Reiki treatments to cancer patients, their families and carers at the Fountain Centre. Every week, I met wonderful, brave, resilient patients who benefited from Reiki on their journey.

This is the result of 3 years of courses and studying, attending workshops, giving 100s of treatments, and 10 case studies.
This diploma enables the practitioner to register with the CNHC, which stands for Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council.
I did it!! In October 2019, I took the last step towards the Professional Reiki Practitioner Diploma: the written exam and passed.

In January 2020, I registered with the CNHC. The great news for you is that your Private Health Plan might cover Reiki Treatments.
